In the performance of his duties, the animal control officer, or his authorized representatives, shall have the authority to use all animal control devices commonly used by other animal control agencies located within the state. The animal control officer, or his authorized representative, will consult with the Western Nevada Veterinary Society or its representatives concerning the type and the method of use of tranquilizer drugs.
