Any person, firm, association or corporation violating any provision of this chapter shall be punished by a fine in any sum less than three hundred dollars ($300.00), or by imprisonment not to exceed six (6) months in the city jail, or by both such fine and imprisonment, and upon such conviction, the license of any such person, firm, association or corporation may be forfeited, cancelled and revoked by the city council. Each and every day upon which a violation of this chapter occurs shall be deemed a separate and distinct violation thereof. (CH Ord. 6 § 11, 1946)
