6-4-7: REMOVAL OF COLLAR, TAGS AND LEASHES FROM DOGS OR CATS:
It shall be unlawful for any person, other than a police officer or owner, to remove the collar, license tag or leash from any dog within the corporate limits of the village without the consent of the owner or keeper of such dog. See section 1-4B-1 of this code for fines for violation of this section. (1983 Code § 8-4-10; amd. 2011 Code)
