Should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this chapter or of the Middletown Fire Code or the Ohio Fire Code, as adopted in § 1604.01, be declared for any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the City Council that it would have adopted all other portions of the same independent of the elimination therefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid.
