"Lot" means for zoning purposes, as covered by this Zoning Ordinance, a parcel of land of at least sufficient size to meet minimum zoning requirements for use, coverage and area, and to provide such yards and open spaces as are required in this Zoning Ordinance. A lot may or may not consist of a single lot of record.

"Nonconforming use" means any lawful uses of buildings or land existing at the effective date of adoption or amendment of Ordinance 871A, passed December 13, 1965, and which does not conform to the regulations of the district in which it is situated.

"Notification of violation" of any provisions of this Zoning Ordinance is deemed to be in accordance with this Zoning Ordinance when the Zoning Inspector or his authorized representative has given written notice of such violation and/or violations to any person, whether the principal, agent, employee or otherwise who has caused the violation. The written notification shall cite the section and/or sections of this Zoning Ordinance so violated, and shall be received and signed by or for the violator named by the notification.
