"Nonconforming use" means any lawful uses of buildings or land existing at the effective date of adoption or amendment of Ordinance 871A, passed December 13, 1965, and which does not conform to the regulations of the district in which it is situated.

"Notification of violation" of any provisions of this Zoning Ordinance is deemed to be in accordance with this Zoning Ordinance when the Zoning Inspector or his authorized representative has given written notice of such violation and/or violations to any person, whether the principal, agent, employee or otherwise who has caused the violation. The written notification shall cite the section and/or sections of this Zoning Ordinance so violated, and shall be received and signed by or for the violator named by the notification.

"Off-street parking space" means any parking space located wholly off any street, alley or sidewalk, either in an enclosed building or on an open lot and where each parking space has an area of not less than 180 square feet exclusive of access drives or aisles.

(a) "Noncommercial recreational facilities" means private and semipublic recreational facilities which are not operated for commercial gain, including private country clubs, riding clubs, golf courses, game preserves and other private noncommercial recreation areas and facilities or recreation centers.
(b) "Commercial recreational facilities" means recreational facilities open to the public established and operated for a profit such as commercial golf courses, swimming pools, ice skating rinks, riding stables, race tracks, amusement parks, carnivals and similar commercial enterprises.
(c) "Restricted commercial recreational facilities" means boat docks and fishing piers, boat launching, maintenance, repair and fueling facilities; concession for the sale of food, nonalcoholic beverages and boating and fishing supplies and accessories.
