§ 51.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Except as otherwise provided, any person convicted of a violation of any section or provision of this chapter shall be fined a sum not to exceed $750 for any one offense, and the person may be confined in a penal institution, other than the penitentiary, for a period not to exceed six months. The provisions of this section shall not apply to, nor affect the ordinances enumerated under ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 1-2.1-1, as the ordinances may be enacted by the city.

   (B)    Any person, firm or entity who violates § 51.21 shall be fined not less than $200 nor more than $750. Any law enforcement officer and the city's Code Enforcement Officer are authorized to issue citations for violation of § 51.21. All citations shall require a court appearance by the person charged.
   (C)   Any person, business or entity violating the terms of § 51.22 shall, upon conviction be fined not less than the sum of $500 plus court costs nor more than the sum of $750 plus court costs and may be subject to imprisonment for up to six months.
   (D)   Any person, firm or entity who violates § 51.23 (A) shall be fined not less than $100 plus court costs nor more than $750 plus court costs.
