Where new water lines and/or hydrants are required under Sections 1505.01 and 1505.02, said facilities shall be operational and accessible during construction of buildings or structures upon the site. If the Fire Chief determines that upon inspection of any building under construction, adequate water supply or facilities for firefighting purposes are not being provided as required, the Chief Building officia1 shall stop construction until such time as adequate water supply or facilities for firefighting purposes are furnished.
