The City of Mentor Board of Building and Zoning Appeals is hereby appointed to serve as the Appeals Board for these regulations as established by City Code. Records of the Appeals Board shall be kept and filed in the office of the Clerk of Council, City of Mentor, 8500 Civic Center Blvd., Mentor, Ohio 44060.
The Appeals Board shall hear and decide appeals where it is alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision or determination made by the Floodplain Administrator in the administration or enforcement of these regulations. The Appeals Board shall authorize variances in accordance with Section 1351.39 of these regulations.
Those aggrieved by the decision of the Board of Building and Zoning Appeals, including the City of Mentor, may appeal such decision to the Lake County Common Pleas Court as provided in Chapter 2506 of the Ohio Revised Code.
