1319.01 PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND PERMITS.

   (a)    Before proceeding with installation of heating, ventilating or air-conditioning equipment, two sets of plans and specifications shall be submitted to the Building Department.

   (b)    For building or structures regulated by O.B.C. such plans shall bear the seal of a registered architect or engineer as defined in Sections 1303.08 and 1303.23.

   (c)    For buildings or structures regulated by Chapter 1331 , plans shall bear the signature of a heating or air-conditioning contractor registered under the provisions of Chapter 1309 .

   (d)    When the plans and specifications are found to conform to the requirements of the Energy Conservation Code of the City or low pressure piping and fire suppression system regulated by O.B.C., and upon payment of the required fee therefor, the Chief Building Official shall issue a permit to proceed with the work as proposed by the plans and specifications.
