1341.01 DEFINITIONS.
"Public swimming pool" means an artificial body of water, with a controlled water supply, used collectively by numbers of persons for swimming or recreative bathing, but not including family swimming pools or club swimming pools.
"Family swimming pool" means an artificial body of water with a controlled water supply over eighteen inches in depth or 200 square feet of surface area, and used or intended to be used solely by the owner or lessee thereof and his family, and by friends invited to use it without payment of any fee.
"Club swimming pool" means an artificial body of water with a controlled water supply used collectively by numbers of persons for swimming or recreative bathing and where such members of a club or association, or families of club members or guests of club members, and where the public is otherwise excluded.

1341.02 PERMIT APPLICATION; FEE.
Before work is commenced on the construction of a swimming pool, or on any alteration, addition, remodeling or other improvement thereto, an application for a permit to construct, together with plans and specifications and pertinent explanatory data shall be submitted to the Architectural Review Board for review and approval and no part of the work shall be started until the Board has evidenced its approval by suitable endorsement upon such plans and specifications. The Building Commissioner shall upon such approval of the Board issue a permit. The permit fee shall be as provided in Chapter 1309.

1341.03 OVERFLOW TROUGH; SEWER CONNECTION.
Every swimming pool constructed after September 15, 1958, shall be provided with an overflow trough not less than two and a half inches wide and extending around the entire margin of the pool. This trough shall be connected with a public sewer, and no water flowing into the trough shall return to the pool. The entire bottom of every such pool shall slope with a fall of not less than one-quarter inch per running foot to an outlet connected with a public sewer.
