In order to convey critical information regarding the subdivision process, a preapplication conference is encouraged, but not required, prior to the submission of an application for a plat of subdivision. The conference shall include the Administrative Officer, City Engineer, other appropriate City staff, and utility company representatives where advisable. The purpose of the preapplication conference is to:
A. Acquaint the applicant with the subdivision regulations and related requirements of the City;
B. List the requirements that the applicant must comply with prior to the submission of the preliminary plat;
C. Establish the applicable street widths for the subdivision under the provisions of section 11-4-4 of this title;
D. Describe the standard engineering specifications adopted by the City;
E. Determine whether the applicant wishes to request waivers of any subdivision regulations as established in section 11-1-7 of this title. (Ord. 15-3, 6-2-2015)
