A person who appears at the Office of the City Clerk or at the Parking Enforcement Bureau of the Mason City Police Department may deny the parking violation charged and may either request a court appearance date or may request an administrative review. If a court appearance date is requested, a uniform citation shall be issued in accordance with Iowa law and a date provided upon which an appearance and plea to the charges contained in the parking citation must be entered in the District Court of Cerro Gordo County, Iowa. The Parking Enforcement Bureau shall then cause the citation to be filed with the Traffic Division of the Office of the Clerk of the District Court for Cerro Gordo County, Iowa.
