The Mason City Engineering Department shall designate the individual parking spaces upon each street or public parking lot by lines or other appropriate markings painted upon the lot, curb or street. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle across any such line or marking or to park any vehicle in such position that it shall not be entirely within the space designated by such lines or markings.
