8-2-1: ORGANIZATION:

Pursuant to section 372.14, Code of Iowa, there is hereby established the Mason City Police Department consisting of the Chief of Police, Captains, Lieutenants, Sergeants, police officers, clerks and other employees, the number of any rank to be determined by the City Council.
