The Airport Commission may from time to time fix, establish and collect a schedule of charges for use of the Mason City Municipal Airport, or any part thereof, which charges shall be used in connection with the maintenance and operation of said airport. The Airport Commission may lease all or any portion of property acquired for airport purposes for a period of years not to exceed fifty (50), and shall have the authority and duty to hold such public hearings as may be required in connection therewith, and may sell any equipment no longer required.
