The Code Enforcement Officers designated by the Development Services Director may enter onto and into open unobstructed property and structures to investigate, locate, and identify nuisances that said department has cause to believe exist on real estate in the City. The designated employees of the division shall have full authority to declare a condition to be a public nuisance and issue appropriate notices provided for by this chapter. Thereafter, the division shall take action as required and permitted by this chapter. Designated division employees shall have all powers and authority necessary to cause the abatement of the nuisance under Federal, State and local laws. (Ord. 13-06, 3-5-2013; amd. 2017 Code)
