It shall be illegal to establish a junk business or junkyard in any part of the City after July 1, 2010. Those junk businesses or junkyards legally established prior to July 1, 2010, that have been in continuous operation up to the present may continue operation, subject to the requirements of this chapter, including licensing, and the requirements of the zoning ordinance, title 12, chapter 6 of this Code related to nonconforming uses.
