The City Council shall approve or disapprove the application. Action taken by the City Council shall be endorsed on the application. (Ord. 94-5, 3-1-1994; amd. 2017 Code)
However, if a holder of a Class E liquor license also holds a BE license (which is required to have Council approval), it will not be necessary for the Class E liquor license to be approved by Council. In accordance with the IABD, a renewal of a Class E liquor license can be done by telephone; provided, that the applicant has met all the conditions for simplified renewal required by the IABD of the Class E liquor license.
