   355.01 PARKING PROHIBITED; REMOVAL OF PARKED VEHICLES BY OWNERS OR OPERATORS.
   In order to facilitate the cleaning of certain streets and to expedite the free flow of vehicular traffic, motor vehicles shall not be parked on the streets designated in this chapter at such times as the United States Weather Bureau records applicable to Marietta, Ohio, indicate that four inches of snow have fallen or that the same weather bureau records indicate that there is a certain immediate prospect of a four-inch snowfall within the next eighteen hours. All cars parked prior to the time of the predicted snowfall must be removed by the owners or operators thereof and any motor vehicle parked upon the hereinafter designated streets in violation of this prohibition shall be removed by order of the Director of Public Safety and Service or by the Chief of Police. In the event of successive snowfalls, the owners or operators of all motor vehicles parked in the prohibited areas shall be obligated to remove such motor vehicles and shall see to it that such motor vehicles remain outside of the prohibited areas until such time as the snow has stopped and the streets have been plowed by City snow removal equipment.

   355.02 PURPOSE .
   It is the expressed intention of this chapter to empty all streets hereinafter designated of all parked motor vehicles so as to allow the speedy plowing and/or removal of snow from the designated streets without hindrance of parked motor vehicles.
