Every applicant, before being granted a permit, as required by Section 12.20.020, shall pay to the building inspector the following annual permit fee for each such sign or other advertising structure regulated by this chapter:
A. One dollar for all signs requiring a permit other than temporary signs;
B. One dollar for each sixty square feet or fraction thereof for temporary signs;
C. One dollar for canopies;
D. One dollar for each ten square feet or fraction thereof of display surface on marquees;
E. One dollar for street or wall clocks;
F. In no event shall the fee be less than one dollar. (Prior code § 21-1-6)
