   The city manager or his designee may designate by appropriate signs, a contiguous area or areas as a smoking-permitted area, but said area shall not exceed fifty percent of a public place. (Ord. 374 (part), 1993: Ord. 339 (part), 1985: prior code § 7-6-4)
