If an employee separates from employment, however, the compensatory time off accrued but not used must be paid at the employee's regular rate of pay at the time of separation, or the average of the employee's regular rate of pay over the last three years, whichever is greater.
   (b)   The City Manager shall have the authority to modify the benefits under Sections 155.04 and 155.10 so that additional years of seniority may be granted for newly hired employees with exceptional professional qualifications.
   (c)   Any City employee required by the City to use their own vehicle for official City business shall be compensated at the mileage rate set by administrative policy, unless the City employee receives a monthly vehicle stipend, in which case said mileage reimbursement shall be pursuant to administrative policy.
   (d)   The City will provide at no cost to Public Works employees summer and winter uniforms, shoes, coveralls and summer and winter caps as needed.
   (e)   The City shall reimburse one hundred percent (100%) for work-related damage to or loss of glasses and dental appliances; damage to or loss of watches, wedding rings or other personal items which occurs in the line of duty and which is not otherwise compensated for by Workers' Compensation, court order or other source.
   (f)   Employees may elect to fund an I.R.A. or any other approved deferred compensation plan with wages.
   (g)   O.P.E.R.S. employee contribution pick-up in accordance with Ordinance 1990-20.
   (h)   Unclassified employees who are "exempt employees" for purposes of FLSA shall not be credited with compensatory time pursuant to Section 155.12(a) for hours worked over eight hours in a day or 40 hours in a work week, but shall be afforded reasonable flexibility in scheduling future work hours to recognize such additional hours worked. Such flex time shall be documented and shown on the nonclassified, exempt employee's pay records, and no employee shall be allowed to carry forward more than 80 hours of flex time unless approved in writing by the City Manager and such time must be used in the carry over year.
