(a) The Wastewater Treatment Superintendent and the Public Works Superintendent, or City employees designated by them, shall be permitted to enter on any premises within the City for the purpose of inspection, observation, measurement, sampling, and testing to insure compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
(b) The Wastewater Treatment Superintendent, with respect to sanitary sewers, and the Public Works Superintendent, with respect to storm sewers, shall maintain accurate and complete records of all permits issued for and inspections made of the construction of building sewers and connections to the public sewers. They shall cause the abandonment and removal of connections to public sewers which violate the provisions of this chapter.
