In the event a census tract or portion thereof is annexed to the Los Angeles Unified School District, that area shall be included in the adjacent Board of Education District provided, however, that if such area is adjacent to more than one Board of Education District, it shall be included in the adjacent District having the least population based upon those statistics utilized by the City Council and upon which the 2021 ordinance redistricting the Board of Education Districts was based.
