1260.01 PURPOSE AND INTENT.
   The purpose of this chapter is to regulate accessory uses in order to promote the public health, safety and general welfare. It is the intent of this chapter to permit accessory uses to be established and maintained in a manner that makes them compatible with principal uses and harmonious with uses upon adjacent properties.

1260.02 PERMITTED USES; USE OF ACCESSORY STRUCTURES, TRAVEL TRAILERS OR RECREATIONAL VEHICLES FOR DWELLING PURPOSES.
   Except as otherwise provided in this Zoning Code, an accessory use shall be permitted in association with a principal use. If the accessory use is a structure, it shall not contain or be used as a dwelling unit, except that on any Residential District lot or nonconforming residential lot, a travel trailer or recreational vehicle may be used temporarily as a dwelling unit for a maximum of seventy-two hours at a time and no more than four times in any 365-day period.
