A detached inhabited structure (such as a carriage house, servants' quarters or garage apartment) that is being used as a dwelling unit at the time that this Zoning Code is adopted may continue as a nonconforming accessory use in Residential Districts. Mobile homes, recreational vehicles and travel trailers are not permitted as accessory uses, except as a temporary dwelling unit as described in Section 1260.02 or as temporary office, tool and/or equipment areas during construction.
