Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 1065.24 below, any person receiving a Notice of Violation under Section 1065.20 above may appeal the determination of the City Engineer to the Board of Building Appeals. The notice of appeal must be sent to the Mayor and be postmarked within 10 days from the date of the Notice of Violation. Hearing on the appeal before the Board of Building Appeals shall take place within 30 days from the date of City's receipt of the notice of appeal, or as soon thereafter as practicable. The decision of the Board of Building Appeals shall be final.
