The Julius Marks Advisory Board, consisting of five (5) members, shall continue after the effective date of this Charter. Said board shall advise the Director of the Division of Homes of the Department of Social Services on all matters pertaining to the operation and administration of the Julius Marks Home. It shall be the particular responsibility of said advisory board to make periodic inspections of the Julius Marks Home and to make such recommendations concerning the care and treatment of the residents of said home as may be deemed necessary.
All vacancies occurring after the effective date of this Charter shall be filled by the Mayor, subject to the provisions of 7.02 of this Charter.
