Any owner or keeper of an animal declared to be vicious under §§ 90.065 and 90.066 or a public nuisance under §§ 90.095 through 90.112 shall be notified by personal delivery, certified mail delivery, or registered mail delivery of the declaration, and may then request a hearing before the Health Director if he or she desires to contest the declaration. The hearing must be requested in writing received by the Director within ten days after receipt of notice of declaration of viciousness or public nuisance.
