Any public nuisance, vicious or feral animal without any recognizable identification may be destroyed after the Animal Control Officer has been unsuccessful in his or her attempt, to catch, trap or tranquilize (within one closed area) the animal. Any feral dog or cat left at the animal shelter may be impounded or euthanized at the discretion of the Animal Control Officer.
