§ 70.99  PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of this section where no other penalty is provided, shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to break or remove any stop signs or danger signals or, in any way, to interfere with them. Violators shall be fined not less than $2, nor more than $50, or imprisoned for 30 days, in the discretion of the court.

   (C)    Violations of § 70.15 shall be subject to a fine of not less than $10.

   (D)   (1)   Fines.  Any person violating §§ 70.25 through 70.27 shall be punished by a fine of $50 for the first offense; $100 for the second offense; and $200 for each subsequent offense, or as a Class 2 misdemeanor subject to incarceration for a term not to exceed 60 days, or by both fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the court.
      (2)   Responsible parties.
         (a)   In the case of a minor, the parents or legal guardian shall be jointly and severally liable with the minor for payment of all fines.
         (b)   Failure of the parents or legal guardian to make payment will result in the filing of a lien on the parents' or legal guardian's property that includes the fine and administrative costs.
         (c)   Upon an application and finding of indigence, the court may decline to order fines against the minor, parents or guardian upon surrender/forfeiture of the motorized dirt bike and/or ATV to the Landis Police Department.
