Any person who becomes an employee of the employer on or after January 1, 1988, shall be eligible to become a member of the Plan and to participate hereunder as of the January 1 that coincides with or immediately follows such employee's completion of one year of service with the employer and his or her attainment of age twenty-five, whichever occurs later. However, in no case shall an employee become a participant hereunder after his or her attainment of fifty-six years of age.
