§ 1220.01 ESTABLISHMENT; MEMBERSHIP.

   (a)   There is hereby established a Planning Commission for the city.

   (b)   The Planning Commission shall consist of five members, namely, the Chairperson of Council, the Mayor and three residents of the city who shall serve without compensation and who shall be appointed by the Mayor for a term of six years, except that the original terms of the three residents appointed shall be two years, four years and six years respectively.

   (c)   The Planning Commission shall have all the powers and perform the duties provided by Ohio R.C. 713.01 et seq., and shall have such additional powers as may be provided by ordinance or resolution of Council.
