§ 240.01 COMPOSITION.
   (a)   The Fire Department shall be composed of a Fire Chief, who shall be appointed as provided in § 4.03 of the City Charter, and such other officers and employees as may be authorized by law.
   (b)   The ranks in the Fire Department shall be as follows:
      (1)   One Chief;
      (2)   Four Captains, with one Captain being specifically assigned as a Fire Inspector;
      (3)   Three Lieutenants; and
      (4)   A minimum of six fire fighters.

§ 240.02 FIRE INSPECTOR.
   The Fire Inspector shall be a 40 hour per week employee with corresponding benefits of such 40-hour week.

§ 240.03 AGE LIMITS FOR ORIGINAL APPOINTMENTS.
   Persons between 18 and 36 years of age may receive an original appointment to the Fire Department.
