§ 94.01 DEFINITION.

   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

   LIBRARY. The Library provided for by this chapter, and any branch or branches thereof which may in the future be established, when the context reasonably so implies.

§ 94.02 ESTABLISHMENT.

   A Public Library is hereby established in accordance with the provisions of Cal. Educ. Code §§ 18900 and 18901, which shall be known as the Public Library.

§ 94.03 TITLE TO ALL LIBRARY PROPERTY TO VEST IN CITY.

   The title to all property acquired for the purpose of the Public Library, when not inconsistent of the terms of its acquisition, or otherwise designated, shall vest in the city, and in the name of the city may be sued for and defended by action at law, or otherwise.
