(A) Term of permit. Permits issued by the city under the provisions of §§ 90.001 through 90.006, 90.020 through 90.027, 90.040 through 90.051, and 90.065 through 90.069 shall be valid for a term of one year from the date of issue unless the permit has been revoked for violations of these provisions.
(B) License requirements. All dogs and cats must be licensed by the time they reach six months old or within 30 days of being brought into the city, whether or not they go outside. Licensing requirements are set by city ordinance. This requirement protects the public by ensuring all dogs and cats are vaccinated for rabies, a requirement for a license. License fee is $10 for the lifetime of a dog or cat. Licenses shall not be passed from one dog or cat to another.
(C) Rabies vaccinations. Residents are responsible for ensuring that vaccinations do not expire during the license period.
