353.07.1 CONTRACTOR PARKING.

   (a)   Sections 353.06, 353.07 and 353.08 hereof shall not apply in those instances where a vehicle, dumpster or any other equipment or obstruction has displayed thereon an all-day parking permit or other measure adequate to identify those authorized vehicles and issued by the City Traffic Engineer, properly dated, and the vehicle is parked in an authorized location.

   (b)   The fee for an all-day parking permit or numbered parking sticker shall be ten dollars ($10.00) each. Each all-day parking permit or numbered parking sticker shall authorize on-street or off-street parking in a standard twenty-two (22) foot space. A parking permit or a numbered parking sticker for additional parking spaces may be acquired at a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) each.

   (c)   No person shall park, place or stand a vehicle, dumpster or any other equipment or obstruction in, about or within the public right of way, parking space or metered parking space for the purpose of transporting tools or equipment to be used at an adjacent building, for work on the sidewalk or curbs or for placing dumpsters in connection with construction, renovation or demolition, without the permit or other measure used by the City adequate to identify those authorized vehicles, and which are issued by the City Traffic Engineer.

   (d)   The fee above is for normal weekdays; weekends and holidays are excluded.

   (e)   Nothing in this section will prevent the enforcement of the penalties found in Section 351.99 hereof.
