§ 36-35 FIRE HYDRANTS.
   All hydrants erected in the village for the purpose of extinguishing fires are hereby declared to be public hydrants. No person other than the members of the department of public safety and employees of the water department, in the exercise of their duties, shall open any such hydrant or attempt to draw from the same, or in any manner interfere with any of such hydrants or use them for any purpose whatever, except as provided for in § 36-33.
