§ 34-3 SAME - TRIMMING BY VILLAGE.
   In the event of the failure of an owner or occupant to trim or cause trees and shrubs to be trimmed, as provided in § 34-1, within the time provided by the notice set out in the preceding section, such trees may be trimmed by the village and the owner or occupant shall be charged with all costs and expenses which may be incurred by the village in trimming trees and shrubs, which costs and expenses shall be a lien on the real property, if privately owned, on which the trees or shrubs which were trimmed are located and shall be collected by the village by suit or otherwise in addition to any fine or penalty imposed.
