§ 34-1 NUISANCE TREES, SHRUBS, AND WEEDS - DUTY OF OWNERS AND OCCUPANTS.
   (a)   All weeds; any tree or shrub overhanging any public sidewalk, street, avenue, alley or any other public property so as to interfere with pedestrian or vehicular traffic thereon or maintenance thereof: or any tree or shrub with any dead branches, boughs or limbs located in such a position that the branches, boughs or limbs could fall or be blown onto any adjacent public or private property; which are found growing on any lot, block, tract or parcel of land situated along any street or avenue in the village, or in any space between the curb line and the sidewalk line of any such lot, block, tract or parcel of land in the village, are hereby declared to be a nuisance.
   (b)   Every owner or occupant of any house, building, lot or premises in the village shall keep the shade, ornamental and other trees and shrubs situated on his or her property and in parkways abutting his or her property, trimmed so that trees and shrubs do not become weeds and nuisances as defined by this § 34-1 of the Glencoe village code.
