§ 30-58 SAME - MANNER OF CONSTRUCTING, ETC., SIDEWALK APPROACHES OR FLAGSTONES.
   Any person owning, using or controlling any property fronting or abutting upon any street, avenue, alley, parkway or public thoroughfare of the village may whenever and as permitted and authorized to do so by a permit therefor as provided for in § 30-60, duly issued by the village, place, construct or maintain sidewalk approaches or flagstones extending from the sidewalk line or from the lot line to the curb line where curbs exist at the time of such construction; provided, that the same shall be placed or maintained at an elevation not exceeding the level of such curb at that place, or extending from the sidewalk line or the lot line to the outside line of the pavement or roadway of such thoroughfare where no curbs exist at the time such construction; provided, that the same shall be placed or maintained at a level not exceeding four inches above the edge of the pavement or roadway at that place.
