§ 5-41 BOND; REIMBURSEMENT OF COSTS.
   (a)   In addition to the agreement for indemnification contained in the application for a permit, the village manager may in his or her discretion require the applicant to furnish a bond in an amount and with or without surety as determined by the village manager in the exercise of his or her sound discretion if the manager determines such bond or surety is in the best interest of the health, safety and welfare of the village based on the size, scope and nature of the applicant's proposed activity or use; provided, however, that neither the purpose of the meeting or event nor the applicant shall be considered in determining whether such financial security shall be required.
   (b)   To the extent village personnel, equipment or supplies will be required in connection with the proposed activity or use, the applicant shall be required to reimburse the village for the costs of such personnel, equipment or supplies in accordance with generally applicable rates established by the village manager from time to time.
