§ 5-26 SAME - QUALIFICATIONS OF OPERATOR; DURATION.
   (a)   A license to operate a moving picture projecting machine or device may be issued to any person applying therefor who shall be over the age of 21 years; provided, that the board of trustees or the village president shall, upon an examination of such applicant, find the applicant competent, or shall find the applicant to be the holder in good standing of a license issued by the City of Chicago or some other municipality of the state by which an examination of such applicants is required; provided, further, that no license shall be issued to any person if in the opinion of the board of trustees, after due examination by them, such applicant therefor shall be determined by them to be irresponsible or incompetent.
   (b)   Each license issued under the provisions of this article shall be valid for the period of one year from its date of issue only, but may be revoked at any time during such period.
