The Engineer shall furnish the following services to the City:
(a) Prepare all necessary plans, profiles, specifications and estimates of cost for all public improvements;
(b) Serve as the representative of the Municipality in the execution of all public work undertaken by the City involving engineering.
(c) Advise all utility and pavement inspectors appointed by the City.
(d) Furnish to the City, plans, specifications and estimates of cost of all improvements for the guidance of the City and for the information and guidance of contractors dealing with the Municipality.
(e) Upon request, the Engineer shall make and deliver to the City monthly reports of the progress of improvements under his charge, stating conditions of same, together with any other matters of interest desired by the City. All plans shall be the property of the Municipality and when so directed, be filed in the Clerk's office upon completion of any improvements; and
(f) The Engineer's service shall be available to any department of this Municipality and to any official acting in his official capacity in connection with the municipal business.(Ord. 30-1983. Passed 5-23-83.)
