The Recreation Board shall have the authority hereinafter provided to be exercised in the manner designated:
(a) The Board shall adopt rules and regulations providing for regular meetings which shall be held at least once a month.
(b) The board shall prescribe rules for the purchase of supplies and equipment; purchase of equipment in amounts less than twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500) shall be made by the Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies; purchases in excess of five hundred dollars ($500.00) shall be approved by the Board of Control; purchases in excess of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500) shall be made after bids are taken and advertised for in the name of the Chairman of the
Recreation Board and Commissioner of Purchases and Supplies.
(c) The Board shall adopt such further rules and regulations as shall be
necessary for the conduct of the affairs of the Board; any such rule
or regulation adopted shall be approved by a voice vote of a majority of Council and recorded in its minutes.
