(a) There shall be an Assistant Director of Law who shall be admitted to
the practice of law in the State of Ohio. He shall be appointed by the Law Director, to serve at his pleasure, and his appointment shall be confirmed by resolution of Council.
(b) The Assistant Law Director shall perform such duties as designated by the Law Director and shall conform to such rules and regulations as the Law Director shall prescribe for the efficient operation of the Law Department. In
addition, the Assistant Law Director shall have concurrent duties and responsibilities as that of the Law Director.
