Pursuant to the provisions of Ohio R.C. 733.51, there is created the position of Assistant Attorney to act as the Police Prosecutor for the City.
The person designated to the position of Police Prosecutor shall have been admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio. He shall be appointed by the Law Director, to serve at his pleasure, and his appointment shall be confirmed by resolution of Council.
The Police Prosecutor provided for hereunder shall perform such duties as
designated by the Law Director and shall conform to such rules and regulations as the Law Director shall prescribe for the efficient operation of the Department. (Ord. 3-1960. Passed 1-25-60.)
