A Sewer Fund is hereby established to be funded with 6% of the receipts from the yearly City Income Tax. The Sewer Fund shall be used for construction of storm retention basins, culverting or channeling of open waterways, the reconstruction of storm and sanitary sewer laterals or mains or the acquisition of land for such purpose and for the repair and maintenance of catch basins. The funds resulting from this storm and sanitary improvement levy shall be used for no other purpose.
A Street Fund is hereby established to be funded with 6% of the receipts from the yearly City Income Tax. The Street Fund shall be used for the construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of streets within the City of Garfield Heights. The funds resulting from this street improvement levy shall be used for no other purpose. (Amended 11-3-87)
