(a) No person shall make, cause, permit or allow any of the following noise disturbances:
(1) Owning, possessing or harboring an animal or bird that howls, barks, meows, squawks or makes any noise that annoys or disturbs a person of reasonable sensibilities.
(2) Operating or permitting the operation of any sound device for purposes of entertainment that exposes customers to a sound level greater than 95 DBA unless a conspicuous sign is posted near each entrance stating the warning, "Sound levels within may cause hearing loss or impairment."
(3) The repairing or testing of any motor or engine in a manner that annoys or disturbs a person of reasonable sensibilities, or at all between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
(4) Operating an internal combustion engine at any time without a muffler or, in the case of motorcycles, baffle plates, in good repair other than to make reasonable repairs.
(5) Operating a motor vehicle or auxiliary equipment attached to a motor vehicle while parked for more than five minutes in any one hour period between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
(6) Loading, unloading or handling of boxes, crates, building materials, garbage cans, or similar objects between 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday and before 10:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. on Sundays. This section applies to all refuse collection.
(7) The operation of commercial tools or equipment for construction or demolition purposes between 9:00 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. Monday through Saturday and before 10:00 a.m. or after 9:00 pm on Sundays.
(8) The sounding of any emergency signaling device for a period of time lasting longer than 2 minutes for emergencies or for testing, or the sounding of an emergency signaling device for any duration for a purpose other than an emergency of for testing. Testing may not be conducted between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
(9) The operation of domestic power tools between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday and before 10:00 a.m. or after 9:00 p.m. on Sundays.
(10) The use of a loudspeaker or public address system between 9:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday and before 10:00 a.m. on Sundays.
(11) The operating, playing or permitting the playing of any radio, television, musical instrument, sound amplifier or similar device or the sound of human communication, at any time, at a volume that disturbs a person of reasonable sensibilities.
(12) The playing of music or similar sounds from a motor vehicle that is plainly audible to a person not an occupant of the motor vehicle.
